I first took an interest in musical theatre in 1975 at the age of 6, when appearing at the Brighton Dome in Beauty and the Beast. I then spent the next 10 years appearing in productions all over the South of England in various roles, from Oliver to The Wizard of Oz and a number of variety shows.
After taking time off from performing in shows, I spent my time working and eventually setting up and running my own insurance broking business, which now has offices in both Brighton and London. Having built up the business from scratch it is now in its 10th year and I can boast a client bank in excess of 7000, with sporting clients such as the boxer Lennox Lewis and many footballers from the Premier League. I remain Managing Director of Seico Insurance and still enjoy the excitement of running the business.
In 1992, soon after setting up my business I felt the call back to the theatre and joined Brighton Theatre Group, a leading society in the South Coast of England. I enjoyed the following few years performing in various musical productions and also as a member of the society's committee. As well as all this I spent a lot of his time writing, which has now become my main passion and aim. In 1996 I co-wrote the musical The Promised Land along with Rob and Jasper. Since then I've written a number of songs for various occasions, produced an album of my songs, written two short stories, and currently is writing a new novel and a new play.
I'm delighted to have been able to work with Rob and Jasper and looks forward to continuing to work with them to write new musicals for many years to come.
